Crikey, can it really be twelve months since musicians of all nations put down their
instruments, pulled on their best bib and tucker and high-tailed it to London to attend
the annual display of bacchanalia and misbehaviour that is The Q Awards?
In 2001, you elected Radiohead to the top spot in a ceremony featuring a TV
set-trashing Travis, a recalcitrant John Lydon, an otherworldly Kate Bush, an
uncommonly kissy Liam Gallagher and a possibly inebriated Johnny Vegas. Now it's that time of the year again.
The 13th Annual Q Awards takes place at a secret London venue on 21 October 2002.
But it won't happen without your votes or two lucky Q readers, plucked randomly from
the electorate, in attendance.
To become eligible for the best day (and night) out of your life, please fill in the form
below, or - if you prefer pencil and paper - the form in the latest issue of Q magazine (out now).
The entry for Best Video is also open to viewers of QTV, which will host three weeks of
live voting from 16 September to 14 October 2002.
To cast your televisual vote, turn to QTV (Channel 453 for Sky Digital Subscribers,
Channel 328 for Telewest subscribers and Channel 818 for NTL subscribers).
